Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s online newsletter posted around the middle of every month. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up. Aaron T. Huss President General Update This month has definitely been more productive than the last. Not only has it seen the release of the ScreenPlay core rulebook, the catalog refresh continues with some much-needed love given to where Mystical Throne Entertainment started. Mercenary Breed DriveThruRPG / RPGNow recently announced that their printer, Lightning Source, is removing the availability of standard color, 50# books. Besides Savage Insider #10, Mercenary Breed is the only set of books affected by this. Those print options have been removed and only the premium color, 70# print options remain. Licensed Campaigns The second round of editing on Five Points (Dark Streets) is done! This means that the book now moves into layout and then artwork will be commissioned. I’m going to guess that it will be available during the first half of August, but only time will tell. It could be sooner, it could be a bit later. However, I don’t expect it to be later than August. Ultimate Guides Ultimate Conspiracies Guide for Savage Worlds has gone through layout. It’s currently in the hands of newcomer artist Ken McIntyre (who also happens to be my cousin). He’s got a flair for the weird and this type of book is perfect for his style! Editing is complete on the Ultimate Fey Guide for Savage Worlds. This book will enter layout shortly, within a couple days, and should be available in July. However, if July gets a bit busy, then this book will be bumped out to August. Additionally, due to the fantasy content inside, the Ultimate Fey Guide will be converted to the Entropic Gaming System to serve as something of an add-on to the upcoming Entropic Heroes: Fantasy book. The Fantasy book really needs to come out first, but this new Ultimate Guide adds even more player character races, cool ideas for incorporating the Fey Realm into a game, and a great bestiary of adversaries that will not be found in the core fantasy bestiary. I recently signed on a new historian, Mike LaMonica, to pen a new Ultimate Guide sourcebook. I love getting historians to write these historical sourcebooks, so you can imagine how excited I was when he sent me a message with a new idea. This one will be the Ultimate Renaissance France Guide detailing France from 1500-1650! This will be a great new addition to our collection of historical guides. I’ve added the Ultimate Vikings Guide to my development queue. This is a book I started brainstorming and now need to get back to researching. I’ve decided to take this one on myself as I have a love for the Dark Ages and the enigma surrounding the Norsemen. Entropic Gaming System Entropic Heroes: Fantasy is diligently being worked on. This book will be a toolkit much like the Science Fiction book, so there’s lots of content to add. Shadowed Earth Judgment Day: Quick Start Guide for EGS and Savage Worlds is done with artwork in process. There’s no rush on the artwork, so it should be available in the next few weeks. I’ve already gotten one piece back with the next being worked on. These look awesome! The bulk of a content was just a slimmed-down version of the core setting guide, but now I’m slowly hacking away on the pregenerated characters and the new adventure. Mythos The revised Savage Worlds core books are now available. All three are available in PDF, the full-color core setting guide is available in hardcover POD, and Hero’s Handbook and Epic Gamemastering are available in black-and-white, paperback POD. Broken Ruler Games Broken Ruler Games has been quite busy as of late with the recent release of ScreenPlay Presents: Ironbound and the ScreenPlay core rulebook. There’s more coming down the pipeline in the upcoming months, so stay tuned for new ScreenPlay content!
