Mercenary Breed 2.0

I am pleased to announce that Mercenary Breed 2.0 is completed! Part of the reason why I finally have time to post a new Throne Report is because it’s completed. That means that all three books have been uploaded and all I’m waiting on is a final proofing copy to be received and approved. Upon approval, all three books will go live across our various distribution outlets. If you’d like to know prices, head on over to each product description page and you’ll find pricing for PDF, POD Standard, and POD Premium. The links are not available yet as nothing has gone live, but you are encouraged to check-out the various free samples available for download and snag the new Character Sheet on the downloads page.

Colonial Gothic: New World

Perilous Journey #2: Great Island has been released. I’ve started working on Perilous Journey #3: Diegol Boc with an estimated release of August or September. After the release of PJ #3, the first compendium will be released, available in PDF and POD. This compendium will include PJ #1 – 3 as a single, convenient offering. It will be laid out as a single book instead of an anthology of three different books.

Savage Insider

Obatron Productions has announced a release of the next issue of Savage Insider in June. No word yet on the theme, but it is apparently going back to a regular quarterly release schedule.

Ultimate Guides

The Ultimate Mongol Empire Guide is available for Savage Worlds and Legend. The Ultimate Knights Templar Guide is in writing and the Ultimate Characters Guide is in editing (expect this one in June). I’ve also sent off the files for the Ultimate Fantasy Tavern Guide, but no word on when this will pick up. I’ve added a new editor to the freelance pool who happens to be a historian. Historians sure make great writers for the Ultimate Guides series!! Just saying…

Mythos

With the release of Battle of Thermopylae, I’ve put together a Mythos Game Master’s Kit that consists of the Core Setting Guide, a free Players Guide, the Quick Start Guide, and Battle of Thermopylae all for $15 (only $0.05 more than just the Core Setting Guide). This is a great way to get started in Mythos and keep the adventures going. Additionally, I’ve tasked Gilbert will pulling together an errata to collect all the feedback he’s received so far. I also may be putting together a Mythos character sheet soon.

Shadowed Earth

The Shadowed Earth Anthology, Volume I is in process. Two stories have been received and a third is in the works. Instead of short stories, the writers were so excited that they all turned in novelettes. This is pretty cool as it gives them the opportunity to explore the story further. So far I love them; one is based in the 1980s punk scene in London while the other is a Western-era piece. They are both excellent entries into the Shadowed Earth realm!!

Roleplayers Chronicle

Several reviews have been posted in the past month, including one for the new Valiant Universe RPG from Catalyst Game Labs (which I really like). There will definitely be some this month as I’ve gone back to doing reviews instead of the lengthier Featured Product series which consumed a lot of time.
