Derek Matthews was born in 1950 and studied Graphic Design at the Kingston School of Art, now Kingston University. He has worked as a packaging designer, graphic designer, and an artist for an animation studio. His “Snappy Pop-Ups” series has become a best-seller, with over 13 million copies sold worldwide to date. He lives in Surrey, U.K.
