Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s online newsletter posted around the middle of every month. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up.

General Update

It may seem as though Mystical Throne Entertainment hasn’t been doing much lately, but we are actually quite busy. For the past six months I’ve been working on getting all webstore catalogs updated and cleaned-up. This means DriveThruRPG / RPGNow, the MTE Webstore, Paizo, and Open Gaming Store. To date, the first three are complete and the fourth one is in process. Paizo and OGS take a lot more time as they require additional intervention, thus the update process continues through today and beyond.

No New Updates

There are currently no new updates regarding Little Heroes, Entropic Gaming System, Licensed Settings, Third Party Products, Mythos, Mercenary Breed, and Ancient World. Although these product lines have books in the “title brainstorming” category, there are no announcements to be shared at this time. When one of those books enters the planning queue, you’ll find out about it in our Throne Report.

Ultimate Guides

At one time we posted the upcoming release Ultimate Modern Guide: American Civil War, the author has stopped responding and the project’s future is now uncertain. I will stash that in the hopeful for future development for now. As of today, the only Ultimate Guides in the queue are updating the Ultimate Medieval Guide: Mongol Empire and hopefully Ultimate Characters Guide: Undead. Not 100% sure about the status of the latter.

Shadowed Earth

Development continues on The Fallen, a Powered by the Apocalypse book placed in Shadowed Earth where players take on the role of one of the members of The Fallen. You are supernatural beings not only fighting the most dangerous foes, but your very existence goes against the principles of the Inquisition and thus you will be hunted should your presence be known. The book is roughly 75% written at this point, an artist has been located, and an editor has been identified.

Savage Insider

Savage Insider Issue #9: Tales of the Weird was released the beginning of July to mark its 5th anniversary and Savage Insider Issue #10: Make it Epic has been updated with a new cover and the print-on-demand proofs are in process. Hopefully Savage Insider Deluxe Issue #1: Modularity will be released this month with a new cover as well.

Second Editions

The more I develop, the more I think about what could be done better. In the not-too-distant-future, expect to see second editions of Entropic Gaming System, Beyond the Firelight, and Little Heroes. I won’t provide details yet, but just know that I am open to anyone that wants to provide feedback on any of these three titles.
