Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s online newsletter posted around the middle of every month. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up.

General Update

I apologize for skipping last month’s Throne Report, but I wanted to get the Ultimate Medieval Guide: Feudal Japan (SW) book out and life was busy. But, not things are moving along and two books have been released!

The next big projects on the development list are the previously announced d100 RPGs, Antiquity and Terrestrial, and a game that hasn’t been announced yet. Along with Cryptozoology #02 as well… After that, a couple Dark Ages Ultimate Guides that will lead to the 2nd edition of Faith & Demons: The Rising.

No New Updates

There are currently no new updates regarding Entropic Gaming System, Licensed Settings, Third Party Products, Ancient World, Systematic Supplements, d100 products, and Mythos.

Ultimate Guides

Ultimate Medieval Guide: Feudal Japan for Savage Worlds and Ultimate Iron Age Guide: Celts for the Entropic Gaming System are now available. Ultimate Iron Age Guide: Celts is the new name for Ultimate Celts Guide, however it also includes some revisions that will be incorporated into the 5th anniversary release of the Savage Worlds version. The former release is available in PDF and POD, but the latter is stuck in getting the POD released. I’m still working through some issues on the cover.

Ultimate Dark Ages Guide: Vikings is still in development, Ultimate Game Mechanics Guide: Ground Warfare is in the layout queue, and Ultimate Iron Age Guide: Roman Legions is in planning (the 5th anniversary revision of Ultimate Roman Legions Guide).

As a note, when these 5th anniversary revised editions are released, the Legend versions will be removed from distribution. This is to prepare for the new d100 historical game tentatively called Antiquity. This will be a standalone d100 designed for historical, alternate history, historical fantasy, and historical fantasy horror games. An official open beta playtest will be released, hopefully early next year.

Shadowed Earth

Beyond the Firelight: Town of Dover is now available in PDF and POD (over at RPGNow and DriveThruRPG). Up next for Shadowed Earth is Cryptozoology #02: Otherworldly Beings.

Little Heroes

Little Heroes has been nominated for an ENnie Award. I’m quite proud of that nomination as this project is my gaming contribution to my children. Additionally, a free Scenario, Trapped in Human Town, is available for download. These will be followed-up with a couple quick Scenarios, designed by my daughter and penned by myself, and the core rulebook coming available through retail outlets.

Savage Insider

Savage Insider Issue #5: CONventional Gaming is available and revisions are being made on Issue #6.

Broken Ruler Games

The High Plains Samurai Kickstarter successfully wrapped up. I do believe artwork is being gathered and playtest feedback is being incorporated.
