Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s weekly online newsletter that will (hopefully) be posted every Friday. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up.
With Issue #8: Technology at the Table released, we are looking ahead to Issue #9: Tales of the Weird. We have some submissions already lined-up and will be seeking more, but more importantly this next issue presents a sneak peek into the new Savage Insider format for the relaunch in April 2014. All templates are being overhauled to create a more professional look, and one that looks more like a magazine and less like an RPG supplement. Editor-in-Chief Aaron T. Huss has been working on the new templates with input from team members Vickey, Todd, and Curtis. So far these new templates take a quite different direction for the magazine to create a cleaner presentation and one that should be more pleasing to our fans. This includes a complete re-tooling of the Convention Calendar and Recent Releases articles.
Editing has begun on the upcoming Ultimate Three Kingdoms Guide. We are still on track to release this in June, if not earlier.
Mythos Core Setting Guide
Aaron and Vickey have been busy plugging away on the editing of Mythos. The book is a 13-chapter book and we have finished first and final draft edits through chapter 8. We are still on track to release this in July.
Shadowed Earth Core Setting Guide
Aaron has finished the first 3 chapters of the Shadowed Earth core setting guide, bringing the content to chapter 4 with a look at the Iron Age. There is currently no estimated release date yet, but it will be available this year.
The team has kicked-off discussions on how to proceed with Twilight Continuum. We will keep everyone informed of the direction we decide to take. However, for the latest information, follow our Facebook or Google+ pages.
Work over at Roleplayers Chronicle continues as usual. We’ve had some great interviews and Designer’s Diary articles posted and continue to post more. The first part of our Featured Product: Clockwork & Chivalry series was released last Saturday with Part 2 scheduled to release tomorrow.
Roleplayers Chronicle Reference
Work continues on revising the Reality Blurs entries with Ravaged Earth and Old School Fantasy now finished. Plenty of new products were added with Frog God Games’ Razor Coast being a highlight.
