Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s online newsletter posted around the middle of every month. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up.

General Update

A lot of work has been done in the past month and a lot of work is in progress. Plans have changed somewhat from what I thought would be first in the development queue, but that’s only because new ideas have floated into my head.

No New Updates

There are currently no new updates regarding Entropic Gaming System, Licensed Settings, Third Party Products, Ancient World, Systematic Supplements, d100 products, and Mythos. Although these product lines have books in the “title brainstorming” category, there are no announcements to be shared at this time. When one of those books enters the planning queue, you’ll find out about it in our Throne Report.

Ultimate Guides

Ultimate Game Mechanics Guide: Ground Warfare for the Entropic Gaming System and Savage Worlds is now available in PDF. The POD proofing copies have shipped, but haven’t arrived as of today. The EGS version is an extract from Entropic Guides: Warfare to present just the mechanics for land battles and siege warfare due to their commonality across genres. The Savage Worlds version is a revision and expansion of Ultimate Mass Battle Guide presenting further details for Mass Battle and presenting a new way of resolving siege warfare for Savage Worlds.

Ultimate Age of Discovery Guide: Renaissance France for the Entropic Gaming System has been released in PDF. The POD should be available in early November. Ultimate Dark Ages Guide: Vikings is now in layout; both versions should be available in early November. Ultimate Iron Age Guide: Roman Legions is in revision development (the 5th anniversary revision of Ultimate Roman Legions Guide). This new version will include a content flow that matches the current Ultimate Guides along with expanded content to enhance your Roman Legion games.

Ultimate Age of Discovery Guide: Pirates and Privateers (the 5th anniversary revision of Ultimate Pirates, Privateers, and Plunder Guide) is in the development queue. This will include an EGS version that coincides with the Sea Battle mechanics presented in Entropic Guides: Warfare. Additional Ultimate Guides will be placed into the 5th anniversary revision queue and more EGS versions will be made available. However, no new development is currently in the planning or development queue yet.

Shadowed Earth

Cryptozoology #02: Otherworldly Beings is in development. This Cryptozoology book will be slightly different than the first in that each entry will be a 2-page write-up instead of a 1-page write-up. This matches the Bestiarum Vocabulum for Ancient World. However, the trade-off is that there will only be 15 entries to keep the page count the same. When the first compendium book comes out, Cryptozoology #01 will get the same 2-page treatment with all entries being expanded.

One of the new projects that has been added to the queue is Veiled Supplements #03: Pinkertons. Although this is a Shadowed Earth sourcebook, it will mostly contain setting-agnostic content followed by GM advice for incorporating it into Shadowed Earth and other potential settings. As with all Veiled Supplements, it will be a short PDF and someday will be incorporated into Shadowed Earth: Organizations that will present multiple organizations in a single release in both PDF and POD. The first organization is The Burning Crow, the second will be Pinkertons, and the currently planned third is Illuminati. I haven’t planned what the fourth and potentially fifth organization will be. I want the Organizations book to be in the 120-150 page count range.

Little Heroes

Birthday Treasure Hunt, a quick Scenario playable in about an hour, is now available. The story for this Scenario was written by my daughter Harper and the content was filled-in by me. It’s a fun family Scenario and great for young children. Up next is another quick Scenario with a storyline written by my daughter Harper. I just need to write the remaining content.

Savage Insider

Savage Insider Issue #6: Holidays and Havoc is available. Revisions on Issue #7: End of Days has already begun. This will be available on January 1 to mark its 5th anniversary.

Broken Ruler Games

The High Plains Samurai Kickstarter successfully wrapped up. Development is wrapping up soon.
