Greetings one and all and welcome to the latest Throne Report, Mystical Throne Entertainment’s online newsletter posted periodically on Fridays. This online newsletter is meant to keep all our fans informed about what we’re working on, what’s been released, important announcements, and a look at what’s coming up. Aaron T. Huss President General Update This month’s Throne Report is slightly delayed due to how busy the past month has been. As you can see from the write, two large books were laid-out and released: Portsmouth 1745 and Ancient World in both EGS and Savage Worlds versions. These books turned out great and now I’m working on getting the printed versions available. Mercenary Breed Editing on Hastilion Expanse has been completed. I’ve decided that due to the linear nature of the campaign and adventures, I’m going to release PDF versions of the adventures group by Rank along with a setting book that can be used as a standalone sourcebook. One book will be released each month. Expect to see the first book in August. Licensed Campaigns The Portsmouth 1745 (Colonial Gothic) PDF is now available, the printed edition is in process. I’m running into a couple hiccups with the full color edition, but at the very least the black-and-white version should be available soon. Hopefully I can work through the full-color version without having to make drastic changes. Work has begun on Five Points (Dark Streets). I’ve been doing A LOT of research to really capture the ins and outs of Five Points during its heyday. It’s amazing how colorful this neighborhood was in real life without the addition of the Cthulhu Mythos. Ultimate Guides Nothing new here other than various development going on that hasn’t been announced. I won’t announce these until the writing is complete and I know the book will be purchased. Entropic Gaming System Entropic Guides: Warfare playtest is mostly complete. The download has been taken down, but I’m still accepting feedback. Editing hasn’t begun yet as my editor is working on finishing another project first. Development continues on Entropic Heroes: Fantasy. I’m currently working on the Multiverse chapter when I can. Development on this book is always second to whatever major book is in development (currently Five Points). Third Party Publishers No updates here, but keep on the look-out for new 3PP EGS products. Shadowed Earth I’ve decided to write a Judgment Day Quick Start Guide. This version will feature all the Victorian mechanics, a Victorian introductory adventure, and 6 Victorian pregenerated characters. It will be available as Pay-What-You-Want in PDF and print-on-demand. It will be available in both EGS and Savage Worlds versions. Development on Cryptozoology #02: Otherworldly Beings hasn’t begun yet. The book is on my to-do list, but I’ve decided to slow down on development. Things were getting a little overwhelming. The proofing copies for EGS have been ordered and when approved, the Savage Worlds versions will be uploaded. This will be available in full-color hardcover and black-and-white paperback. Bestiarum Vocabulum EGS version is in editing. Once editing is done, the stat blocks will be converted to Savage Worlds for the SW version. Layout will begin fairly soon and the PDF will be available in August. There’s a good chance that an Ancient World Quick Start Guide will be developed and released as Pay-What-You-Want in both PDF and POD. These are a great way of introducing settings to potential customers. I’ll probably pull together a nice bundle of EGS Quick Start Guides as a type of Try Before You Buy package. Something fun that would make a great gift! Mythos Heaven Queen has become Queen of the Labyrinth due to the book’s focus on the labyrinth. This one turned out quite awesome and an EGS version will be release in the upcoming months. Not sure when though. Broken Ruler Games Broken Ruler Games is busy with development. Stay tuned to this area for further announcements when they come available. Roleplayers Chronicle I recently finished adding Design Mechanism and the rest of Nightfall Games to the Reference database.
